ABOUT ME
Fiona Cleary is a Canadian filmmaker
with a passion and focus on advancing
her skills in the Film and Television
industry. Fiona grew up on a dairy farm
in Spencerville, Ontario and got her
start in her high school drama
department. Working on countless
musicals and productions over her
years there, lead her to direct a play, 'Flakey Lips', in the Sears Drama Festival. Along with her cast members, the show moved on to the Provincial Showcase where Fiona was honoured with a MIRA Award for her directing.
After this experience she found a passion and confidence to further journey down a career path in entertainment and production, expanding beyond the walls of theatre. She did her studies at Humber College in the Film and Television Production program. During her studies she directed the short documentary, 'Breath of Life', which tells the story of Hélène Campbell during her life-changing wait for a double lung transplant. Fiona is constantly working on her own projects while immersing herself in the Canadian film industry.
